France is one of the most popular Schengen destinations for Bangladeshis, and the process runs entirely through VFS Global in Dhaka.
Visa Type: Schengen (Type C) short-stay visa for tourism, family visits, or business — valid for travel across all Schengen countries for up to 90 days in any 180-day period.
Fee: €90 for adults, €45 for children aged 6–12, free for children under 6, plus a VFS Global service charge (approx. BDT 2,800–3,000). All fees are paid in BDT and are non-refundable.
Embassy/VFS Details: Applications go through the France Visa Application Centre (JVAC/VFS Global) in Dhaka, which forwards files to the Embassy of France in Dhaka for the final decision.
How to Submit: Create an account on the official France-Visas portal, fill in the online application, then book an appointment at the VFS centre. Attend in person with your full document file, in the checklist order, and provide biometrics.

Valid passport (issued within 10 years, valid 3+ months beyond travel, 2 blank pages)
