Finland does not have its own embassy in Dhaka, so Bangladeshi applicants apply through the Embassy of Sweden, which represents Finland for Schengen visa purposes.
Visa Type: Schengen (Type C) short-stay visa, processed under Sweden’s representation agreement.
Fee: €90 for adults (waived for official/diplomatic passport holders with a Note Verbale), plus a VFS service charge of about BDT 1,573, plus a small bank processing fee of around BDT 230.
Embassy/VFS Details: Embassy of Sweden, Bay’s Edgewater, 6th Floor, Gulshan-2, Dhaka (handles the visa decision for Finland). Applications are physically submitted at the Sweden Visa Application Centre (VFS Global), Borak Mehnur, Level 7, 51/B, Kemal Ataturk Avenue, Banani, Dhaka-1213.
How to Submit: Book an appointment through the VFS Global Sweden/Finland portal, submit your file with biometrics at the Banani centre, and pay the visa and service fees in cash in BDT.
