Mexico Visa from Bangladesh
Apply for the Mexico visa under the new, updated rules.
Mexico
Mexico is a growing destination for Bangladeshi travellers, but there is no Mexican embassy or consulate in Dhaka, so the process takes a little extra planning.
Visa Type: Sticker (regular) visa issued by a Mexican embassy/consulate abroad. Note: if you already hold a valid multiple-entry visa for the USA, UK, Canada, Japan, or any Schengen country, you may enter Mexico visa-free for up to 180 days.
Fee: Around USD 36 (approx. BDT 4,300–7,500, depending on the receiving mission and exchange rate). Fee is non-refundable even if the visa is refused.
Embassy/Consulate: Since December 2024, Bangladeshi nationals can submit applications at any Mexican embassy or consulate in the Asia-Pacific region or elsewhere in the world — previously this was limited only to the Mexican Embassy in New Delhi. In practice, most Bangladeshi applicants still apply through the Mexican Embassy in New Delhi, or the missions in Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, since there is no mission in Dhaka.
How to Submit: Book an appointment with your chosen Mexican mission, appear in person with your documents, and provide biometrics/interview as required. Documents in a language other than English or Spanish must be translated. Decisions are usually given within a couple of working days once submitted.
