Employment Visa Requirements

To apply for a UAE work visa, applicants must meet these criteria:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid passport (6-month validity minimum)
  • Obtain an entry permit from the Ministry of Labour
  • Secure a signed employment contract
  • Pass a medical screening
  • Obtain health insurance

UAE Work Visa Application Process

  • Step 1: Employer Secures Entry Visa Quota Approval
    The hiring company must first obtain approval from the Ministry of Labour (MOL) for hiring foreign employees.
  • Step 2: Submission of Employment Contract
    Both employer and employee must sign a standardized employment contract and submit it to the MOL for approval.
  • Step 3: Application for Work Permit and Entry Visa
    The employer applies for a work permit and entry visa by submitting the employee’s documents, including education certificates and passport copies.
