Employment Visa Prerequisites
Applicants seeking a work visa for the UAE must fulfill the following requirements:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Possess a valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining
- Acquire an entry permit from the Ministry of Labour
- Have a signed employment contract
- Successfully complete a medical examination
- Obtain health insurance coverage
UAE Work Visa Application Procedure
Step 1: Employer Obtains Approval for Entry Visa Quota
Initially, the hiring organization must secure authorization from the Ministry of Labour (MOL) to employ foreign workers.
Step 2: Submission of Employment Agreement
Both the employer and the employee are required to sign a standardized employment agreement and submit it to the MOL for validation.
