There are several visa subclasses available for skilled immigration to Australia. The most common options include:

1. Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189)

Visa Subclass 189 offers direct permanent residence. If you’re from Bangladesh, you can migrate to Australia as a permanent resident (PR). This is the best visa option among all three subclasses. With this visa, you can live anywhere in Australia and enjoy all the benefits of Australian PR. You can add your partner through spouse visa later, if not added earlier.

• Must score at least 65 points on Australia’s points test.

2. Skilled Sponsored Visa (Subclass 190)

3. Skilled Work Regional Visa (Subclass 491)

Step 6: Health and Police Checks

Complete health checks and provide police clearance certificates as required.

Step 7: Visa Approval

1. Occupation in Demand List: Each year Australian government determines occupations suitable for migration in Australia. If you are from Bangladesh, do not apply if your occupation in not in the skilled occupation list.
